The name Dura which signifies “durability” was the vision of two ambitious personalities viz. Dr. Dhananjoy Ghanti and Mrs. Rekha Ghanti. They were instrumental in laying the foundation for the growth of the company which has already achieved an unprecedented record of approvals from consulting and construction industries. The company has grown from strength to strength and foresees itself as the market leaders in innovation, quality, technology and customer satisfaction in the construction care segment.
We realize the importance of quality and integrity in winning the hearts of our valued customers which has been incorporated in our company’s motto i.e. “Quality, integrity assured”. The quality management system complies with the international standard ISO 9001: 2008 which covers production, inspection, servicing of company’s products, management policies, thereby assuring continual improvement in manufacturing processes and customer fulfilment.

As a result, our technical and commercial expertise has ensured that our product range has now touched the 120 mark.

Dr. Dhananjoy Ghanti, Managing Director
Dr. Ghanti is a pioneer in the field of concrete technology and construction chemicals. His vast experience in product development and professional excellence in this sector is a result of years of diligence, persistent effort and highly skilled execution carried out in the various multinational companies (MNCs) where he served as a research scientist.
He was called the “father of cement grouts” during his tenure at Fosroc (British multinational) due to his extensive work on cement grouts and concrete admixtures which culminated into sales. He was also credited for successful introduction of superplasticisers and grout development in the German MNC, M C Bauchemie, where he was the production manager. At Sika (Swiss MNC), he was linked with the successful introduction of Polymer Concrete, high strength pump concrete mix design with retarded plasticiser, shotcrete accelerator and cement & resin anchor products. He was also the technical director in CICO technologies, Roffe Construction Chemicals Pvt. Ltd and later in Acro paints where he was credited for developing pressure reactive acrylic adhesive and introduced waterproofing compounds which fetched the company huge business.
In short, the legacy of our chairman further reinforces the company’s motto. He also published numerous articles and conducted workshops on effects of construction chemicals on cement characteristics and RCC structures which can be found in Publications section.
Mrs. Rekha Ghanti, Director
Mrs. Ghanti is an integral part of the advisory board. She is responsible for managing the Human Resources related issues and plays an important role in formulating the strategies and policies in the company. She has been instrumental in maintaining the order and decorum within the confines of the company and building the “Dura Work Culture”.
